We are so excited to have you at our Cattle Baron’s Ball presented by Southern Homes. The American Cancer Society staff and our amazing volunteers have been working diligently to make our event as successful as possible in our efforts to attack cancer at every angle. This is only possible with our continued support of our sponsors, donors, and guests each year, like you!
In the old west, there always came a time when cattle barons had to blaze new trails while ensuring they protect the herd. We plan to do the same at the 2020 Polk Cattle Barons Ball. In a year where most events have gone virtual, we're confident our outdoor venue, our adherence to guidelines and our attention to safety will allow us to blaze an innovative trail and stage a rare 2020 outdoor event. Saddle up with us for an evening that will require some precautions (social distancing, masks, auction housed online) and some happy faces as we create a new path to celebrating lives, saving lives and moving us closer to a world without cancer. The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and guests will remain the priority, but we're also going to put an emphasis on fun. The stakes are too high to turn tail and ride away. We're gonna deputize the guests, create a posse, and raise a bounty to fund vital research, support patient services and help bring this insidious disease to justice. If you're ready to ride, show up at the Bunch Ranch at 6 p.m. on Nov. 7 for a bucking bronco good time.
We hope to see you there!
For more than 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
